Postponement of the WSTA 14th Gulf Water Conference
In view of the current conditions related to the Covid 19 pandemic, which is sweeping the world in general and the region in particular, the Organizing Committee of the 14th Gulf Water Conference, in coordination with the sponsoring authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announces the postponement of the date of the conference, which is to be held in Riyadh next April to February of 2022.
This decision was taken based on several reasons, which are:
- The lack of clarity on possibilities of participants from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia traveling to the Kingdom under the circumstances of the pandemic.
- The large number of activities related to water in the city of Riyadh during the next few months, the most important of which are the Saudi Water Forum and the Ninth International Conference on Water Resources and Arid Environment.
- A number of regional organizations requested more time to prepare effective participation in the conference due to the change in their programs and the re-arrangement of their priorities during this period.
Therefore, the organizing committee decided to postpone the conference to the period 13-15 February 2022 while keeping the conference themes and the scientific program as announced earlier.
The Organizing Committee would like to sincerely thank all the speakers and exhibitors for their understanding and cooperation, with our best wishes, health and wellness, we look forward to welcoming you again to the 14th Gulf Water Conference in Riyadh in February 2022.
